INFORMATION:
We publish newsletters, bibliographies
of relevant materials and provocative graphic materials. We
organize exhibitions of socially responsible design, and notify
members and others of our activities. |
FORUMS:
We organize lectures, discussions and
confereneces, lobby elected officials and candidates; sponsor
design competitions that stimulate creative thinking and heighten
social consciousness. |
NETWORKS:
We exchange ideas, information, resources,
and co-sponsor programs with organizations that share our goals,
related to the environment, disarmament and social issues such
as housing for the homeless. |
| GOVERNMENT:
We alert members to critical legislative
developments and convey our position on them to elected representatives. |
INTERNATIONAL:
We promote peace and understanding through
student and professional exchange programs and exhibitions. |
EDUCATION:
We offer an alternative perspective
on the training of design and planning professionals through
our SERDE program - Socially and Environmentally Responsible
